Primary purpose:
The Officer will be responsible for supporting the coordination the operational implementation of
the Office’s Strategic Plan.
Key Accountabilities
a) Assist in implementing and monitoring the Office’s strategic plans.
b) Prepare working papers, reports and briefs designed to aid in the process of planning.
c) Assist in collection and compilation of performance data of the Office as per its annual
plans and targets.
d) Prepare working papers, reports and briefs designed to aid in the process of planning.
e) Coordinate and undertake Monitoring and Evaluation of the Office’s activities.
f) Assist in the implementation of the annual review and compiling data for the target
setting of performance indicators and methods to capture key activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, or Social Sciences, or Social Work and Social
Administration, or Statistics, or Economics, or Development Planning, or related area.
Experience
A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a related role related to policy, planning and
evaluation in a busy organization.
Technical Expertise
a) Excellent knowledge of evaluation techniques and mechanisms.
b) Must have a solid understanding of policy and planning in public sector.
c) Knowledgeable about the Monitoring and Evaluation requirements in public sector
d) Excellent computer skills
