Vivo Energy Uganda is the distributor and marketer of Shell fuels and lubricants in Uganda. The company invites applications from qualified and experienced companies to support the distribution of bulk Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) under its trusted Shell Gas brand, to commercial and industrial customers across Uganda.
This opportunity is best suited to well-established technically competent and growth driven transport or energy distribution firms with a proven track record in logistics, safety compliance, and commercial development.
Minimum Requirements
- Fleet Capacity: Applicants must own or have reliable access to a fleet of LPG bulk trucks with a capacity between 1,000 to 5,000 tonnes, that are suitable for safe and efficient deliveries.
- Technical Competence: Applicants must possess demonstrated compliance with LPG handling and safety standards, including qualified personnel and valid industry certifications.
- Financial Strength: Evidence of financial capability (working capital) to support continuous operations, including provision of a valid bank guarantee.
- Market Development Capability: Proven ability and commitment to expand the bulk LPG market for Shell Gas through proactive business development and client relationship management.
Scope of Work
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of bulk LPG to Shell Gas customers across Uganda.
- Maintain full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, environmental guidelines, and Vivo Energy’s HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality) standards
- Actively develop the bulk Shell Gas customer portfolio in key sectors such as manufacturing, hospitality. education, and institutional services.
